DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Cooperates with other personnel and stakeholders to achieve organizational mission and strategic objectives and maintains positive relations throughout the organization. Responsible for compiling and using information related to assignments, analyzing and handling procedures and problems that involve independent judgment and decision making Demonstrates self-directed learning and participates in continuing education to ensure professional growth. Proactive in developing a base knowledge of all departments within the hospital. Maintains efficient flow of information while maintaining confidentiality. Demonstrates professionalism in interactions with nursing, staff, and other patient care members and coworkers. Assist in orientation and training of new employees. Assists coworkers in completing their duties to promote effective teamwork. Takes the initiative to solve problems including, but not limited to, equipment, maintenance, and staffing issues. CRS Specific Job Duties Serves as primary Trainer/Facilitator/Preceptor for staff and student. Maintains and demonstrates appropriate knowledge and ability to provide orientation and training. Coordinates competency processes including education, assessment, tracking and reporting. Recommends and actively supports organizational and departmental standards through leadership in key areas such as quality assessment, performance improvement, safety, environmental and infection control processes. Provides confidential administrative support to the Director and other departmental management staff.
